I don't know about you, but I when I was 21, I didn't know shit about shit (though I certainly thought I did).
I had no idea what I wanted for a career, no real aspirations other than finishing school and earning money.
:) It's really not that big of a gap, especially later on in life.
And so what, maybe the 18 year old just needs someone more mature than someone their own age.
I don't understand this line of thinking at all. Take 100 people of your own age, let's use 28 as the OP, with how many 28 years old, men or women, you have things in common? Let's imagine OP is a big fan of astronomy and hiking.
The older you are, the less age means anything at all.
My friend who is 36 is dating a man 9 years younger than her and I have a crush on a man probably about 15 years older than me.
But, overall, just do what's legal and what you feel comfortable doing :) It's really no one else's business anyways. Granted it isn't as large of an age gap, but we are the happiest we've ever been, going on three years now. seems that lots of people anymore only live for the day and that will cause you problems. both of them need to look for a mate closer to their own age.Although, it depends on their maturity levels, whether or not they understand the problems that come along with such an age gap, etc. The child's father would be 67-68 when the child has graduated high school and pretty much grown and raised. older too and any child will likely be grown and gone. if they continue there will be headaches and heartaches for one or both.Im very much in love and he spoils me, but never makes or even asks me to do anything i dont want to do. And since 10 years ''isn't that much of a difference'' I guess by some people's logic it should be ok for an 18 year old to date a third grader.I can completely understand why others may think its wrong, but if its true love then no one should be the judge of that . I HATE, HATE, HATE when in a big age gapped relationship, the man is older.
